
Christian Barton - Director
Before joining the team, Chris spent over six years in retail as a team manager, where he built strong leadership and people skills. He then moved into the finance team of a large distribution company — one of the county’s biggest employers — where he worked as a retail accountant. In this role, he supported the preparation of management accounts and carried out cost centre analysis across various departments.

While Chris enjoyed his time in that role, he discovered that his real passion is working more closely with small businesses and supporting them with their day-to-day finances — which is what led him to join ADK.

Chris enjoys building relationships with clients and is always happy to help with bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll. He’s also a Xero Certified Advisor, bringing valuable expertise alongside his friendly, approachable style.
